
Vallarta Pride Parade 2025 Sets Record Attendance. The Puerto Vallarta 2025 Pride Parade garnered a record-breaking attendance of over 30,000 people, more than 90 contingents and 65 affiliate brands, including: hotels, airlines and bus lines, NGOs and government authorities, bars, clubs, tour operators and other ‘gay-friendly’ establishments from Puerto Vallarta, Mexico.
A special guest of the 2025 Vallarta Pride Parade was Michelle Fridman Secretary Of Tourism for the State of Jalisco becoming the first Tourism Secretary to lead the LGBTQ+ pride parade in Puerto Vallarta.
In addition, Puerto Vallarta was appointed ambassador of Michelle Fridman in recognition of its public commitment to promote conditions for the exercise of tourism as a universal right in a friendly, respectful and safe destination for all people, as Vallarta Pride is.
Vallarta Pride Parade 2025 sets record attendance and for the first time a delegation from Fidetur Puerto Vallarta joined those participating in the Pride Parade as part of strategic actions implemented in support of events that help attract more visitors to this destination.
Gobierno Municipal de Puerto Vallarta through Gerencia de Ciudad y Centro Histórico and the Directorate of Gender Diversity also participated with the pride parade.
Held on May 22, 2025 the Vallarta Pride Parade marched through the Malecon and the main streets of Historic downtown Puerto Vallarta. It ended in the heart of the Romantic Zone with the crowded Fiesta en la Calle which gathered over 25 thousand attendees and the stellar performance of the Mexican pop band, Grupo JNS.
Puerto Vallarta is the leading gay beach travel destination in Latin America for the LGBTQ+ population and the second internationally after Tel Aviv.
Puerto Vallarta has been recognized as The Beach Destination of the Year at the LGBTQ+ Travel Awards Mexico 2023 and received the Magellan Gold Award for Best LGBTQ+ Destination 2024. It’s also part of important rankings such as “Pride Trendy Year-After-Year Destinations” and Top 15 of Airbnb’s “Best LGBTQ+ Destinations.”
