Puerto Vallarta a top hotel destination for Post Corona Virus travel

A new Travel and Leisure survey of Expedia data lists Puerto Vallarta a top hotel destination for Post Corona Virus travel. “As states start to ease their stay-at-home restrictions and people become more comfortable with the idea of travel, it’s likely Americans will choose to explore their own backyard first,” a spokeswoman for Expedia told T&L. In terms of hotels seached for international travel, Americans looking to leave the country overwhelmingly chose Mexico, with 1-Playa del Carmen, Cancun, Isla Mujeres, Puerto Vallarta, and Los Cabos taking the top five spots.

For the gay traveler, Puerto Vallarta is Mexico’s number 1 gay beach destination. The hotels in Puerto Vallarta are ready to see the return of you when you are ready. Some Puerto Vallarta gay hotels are reopening June 1, 2020 with common areas(pools and public spaces remain closed)

Public beaches are high on the list for popular travel locations after the corona virus pandemic. Puerto Vallarta’s gay beach is well known for its popularity among LGBT travelers. A recent survey of 1,000 U.S. adults conducted April 8 to 10, 2020 by Mower, a marketing, advertising and public relations agency, asked respondents to gauge their comfort for travel the day after Corona Virus restrictions ease, 30 days later and 60 days later. The survey gauged Americans’ sentiment regarding places where they feel comfortable once the pandemic subsides. Twenty-six percent said they’d feel comfortable at a public park or beach on Day One, 52% by Day 30 and 72% by Day 60. The Puerto Vallarta gay beach after Corona Virus should be very popular among LGBT travelers. When we will see big crowds on the gay beach in Puerto Vallarta remains to be seen.
