Puerto Vallarta Gets New Flight From Prague

Puerto Vallarta Gets New Flight From Prague. The charter route, operated by the airline World2Fly under the coordination of the DER Touristik travel group, will begin operating every Tuesday from October 2024 to April 2025,  connecting Puerto Vallarta directly with Prague.  The charter route will operate weekly from October 2024 to April 2025 using an Airbus A 350 which can carry up to 432 passengers.

Luis Villaseñor Director General of the FIDEICOMISO PÚBLICO DE TURISMO had mentioned this new flight was results of efforts at the International Fair of Tourism (FITUR) held in January 2024 in Madrid, Spain. Tourism official expect more than 10,000 tourists from Prague, Germany, Austria and Poland to visit Puerto Vallarta and surrounding areas during the six months of the flight operation.

This news of the new flight from Prague comes as the Puerto Vallarta International Airport is currently undergoing improvement preparing to handle the expected increase in passenger traffic. In 2023 the Puerto Vallarta airport welcomed more than 6.7 million passengers with more expected in 2024.  The first quarter of 2024, the Puerto Vallarta airport has had 2.1 million passengers, which is a 5% increase from the same period in 2023.
