Yoga in Puerto Vallarta Mexico

puerto vallarta yoga

Keeping in shape is easy in Puerto Vallarta. We eat healthy with the abundance of fruits and vegetables, fresh fish and wonderful flavored waters. Walking is one of our favorite pastimes and Pup always reminds us to get out of the hammock and move our behinds. We have also discovered in Puerto Vallarta a wealth of yoga instructors, classes and locations. Keeping the joints and muscles in shape is not a difficult task and there is a variety to choose from. There are loads of places to go and we have given you a selection of three here; they have all been given good marks by our readers.

Davannayoga in Centro Historico is the oldest registered yoga center in Puerto Vallarta and has incredible views while you balance and stretch. Davannayoga’s teachers are all highly qualified, certified, and their classes are suitable for the very beginning beginner to the extremely advanced student. They do vinyasa, hatha, morning yoga with meditation, restorative and have private lessons as well as immersions and workshops. Their Yogic Arts are trademarked and highly recommended by many friends.

SUP Yoga is our next pursuit! It’s yoga on the ocean, on a surfboard, surrounded by the natural elements of Puerto Vallarta at their very best. SUP yoga has highly certified instructors and gives a different slant to the world of yoga. We have friends who rave about this method; you really learn your alignment when you are balancing on a surfboard. SUP Yoga starts out on the beach; they match you with the best board for your needs. Once you have been deemed ready for the water, off you go. They offer yin (meditation) where you paddle out and absorb the environment, plus a powerful fitness class.

Yoga Vallarta is in Old Town on Basilio Badillo in Puerto Vallarta. Yoga Vallarta has a very large studio to accommodate groups, and has Pilates, HIIT, Ashtanga, and Tai Chi, among other classes. They welcome both residents and visitors, with classes in English and Spanish. Meditation, acupuncture and chiropractic are also available at Yoga Vallarta, which also serves the community as a dance studio.

Yoga retreats are a bit of a rage here in Puerto Vallarta and Bucerias, Sayulita, San Pancho and other settlements. Most are four to seven days and range from simple novice level to highly intense sessions with discipline and education. A simple Google search will unearth a great quantity to choose from. We have mentioned the above three due to recommendations and personal experience. Namaste!

Que es cómo es.

Here are a few of our guiding principals at Boardwalk Realty:

“First of all, we really want to get to know you,”   When we know you, we can tailor home tours to your tastes.”

Secondly, there’s the legal side of owning in Mexico. “Besides our own experience, we can save you a lot of time and money by offering you complimentary consultations with our partner attorneys.  The nuances of how you buy here can save you a lot of money when you sell. It’s important to know what you’re doing on the purchase so that when you sell you can best use any tax advantages. This service is free to our clients and can be invaluable.”

Both partners agree that the most important element of Boardwalk Realty is our ongoing service and commitment to our clients after the sale.  We are both passionate about protecting the investment and security of our clients.  “Our clients become our friends, we see them socially, and we treat them as we would like to be treated ourselves”, adds Mike.

Boardwalk Realty Puerto Vallarta represents buyers and sellers of real estate in the entire Bay of Banderas area, and will soon add a rental and property management division.
