GAYPV Restaurant and Food Guide Puerto Vallarta

Puerto Vallarta has become one of the world’s most recognized gay travel destinations. Gay PV has had the pleasure of seeing the Puerto Vallarta gay scene grow to become one of world’s most famous gay travel hotspots in the world. What has made the gay life of Puerto Vallarta, Mexico so popular many international gay travelers visit for the first time, repeat and then even live here? Here is the GAYPV Restaurant and Food Guide. Puerto Vallarta is for foodies! There is a great restaurant for every culinary appetite and budget in Puerto Vallarta, from street taco stands to fine dining and every cuisine in between. Also catch one of the gastronomic events while you are in town or a cooking class offered by one of our chef’s restaurants!

For tipping in restaurants in PV, 15% of a check is a good rule of thumb to follow; if you’re in a big group you may find that a service fee is automatically added to the check (look out for that). If you feel you have been given particularly great service, 20% is great. In PV, it is acceptable to tip in either pesos or dollars, though pesos are more practical for the person being tipped. If you do tip in dollars, be sure to only tip using notes and not coins as coins cannot be exchanged.
