Four-time Billboard Charting Recording Artist and Two-Time OutMusic Award Winner, Matt Z, joins forces with Jeb Havens, acclaimed singer/songwriter for an evening of self-penned pop tunes and classic covers. This show will showcase both of their latest album releases and is sure to highlight the soaring vocals, as well as the heartfelt introspection that is so relatable on each of their recent albums.
Matt began his career at age 12, starring in commercials, and, subsequently made his theatrical debut at age 17 in the stage play, Cats. His career led him to Broadway, where, still just a teenager, he made his Broadway debut in A Chorus Line. He has appeared in numerous Broadway shows, including Chicago, Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat, and Who’s Tommy? He has performed with Whitney Houston, Reba McEntire, Chaka Khan, Vanessa Williams, Brandy, Usher and Olivia Newton-John. He continues to perform and has become a highly-respected songwriter, having produced many hit singles and albums, including Debut (2002), Here I Am (2008), Change Begins with Me (2012) and The Estrogen Sessions (2017). Four of his singles have become Billboard Hits! He was also the first openly gay man to be named one of People Magazine’s “Hottest Bachelors” in their popular annual summer issue!
Jeb Havens in an international recording artist and songwriter based in Los Angeles. His music is a blend of catchy pop and raw emotional therapy. His YouTube videos (many shot in the closet) have been viewed over 650,000 times, and captured the attention of Reddit, BuzzFeed, and the TV show “Right This Minute.” His newest album, “Home Base,” produced by Grammy-winning producer Andy Zulla, was released in February, 2016.
The evening will be a peek into the souls of Jeb and Matt. They are both sensitive, introspective, and emotional romantics at heart…but they know how to let that down and have some fun. It will also be a multimedia experience…incorporating many video elements into the evening’s set! This is a great opportunity to see two hot, young bachelors in action!
