Chef/owner Jeff Gesses’ Italian-Mexican fusion cuisine sparkles under romantic candlelight. Offerings include: antipasti, stuffed poblano, bruschetta, and salads including Caesar. There are several varieties of thin-crust pizzas including an eggplant vegetarian. An assortment of pastas feature fettuccine, spaghetti, and lasagna topped with wonderful choices from Alfredo to Bolognese to mussels and cannelloni stuffed with mole poblano. There’s a special frutti di mare (seafood for two) and other wonders from the sea including octopus, scallops, shrimp, and calamari prepared a variety of ways including shrimp in lobster sauce. Don’t worry, there are good options for non-seafood lovers including chicken Parmesan and grilled filet mignon. The menu offers several dessert options including housemade tiramisu.
