In December 2019, The Puerto Vallarta Boutique Community Theatre owners Karrie and Ken Sebryk announced the theatre would be incorporated into Nacho Daddy’s 2nd floor entertainment space. Please visit Nacho Daddy for all further shows and information after December 2019.
The Boutique Theatre has been a Puerto Vallarta fixture for over a decade. Our first show here was The Night of the Iguana performed at the CECUTAR over on Zaragosa and Matamorose. We then moved to a converted garage on Manuel M. Dieguez and opened with Robin’s Hoods. Two years later a larger venue was procured at the corner of Basilio Badillo and Naranjo where we opened with The Best Little Whorehouse in Texas. We hoped that to be our permanent home but it was not to be.
In 2014 arrangements were made to renovate the top of Nacho Daddy, a very successful Mex-Tex bar and grill. That year we opened with Nunsense On Vacation In Puerto Vallarta. This is where we finally plan to stay! Additional renovations in 2015 resulted in an 80 seat theatre with all the trimmings. In 2016 we added a 20 seat balcony AND an upstairs washroom! This year we plan on adding a second story to the back end to provide for a much needed rehearsal space so please feel free to contribute what you can so we can continue to provide you with the finest community theatre in town.
And why not get yourself involved? The Boutique is always seeking people from all walks of life at any age to participate in the wonderful community of show business! Actors, directors, painters, ticket sales, graphic designers, carpenters, electricians… all sorts of opportunities to rub shoulders with a very diverse bunch of fun loving people. Come play with us!
