Exclusively dedicated to showcasing the pottery of Mata Ortiz, Mexico. This little town in he middle of the desert in Chihuahua State is the hometown to about 400 ceramists who create a unique art form made with clay. Each piece is painstakingly hand-built from coils and painted free-hand with great refinement.

The Centro Historico Artwalk is a self guided art tour held every Wednesday from 6pm to 10pm, normally from November to May annually. Many participating art galleries in the centro zone of Puerto Vallarta provide local and international artists, their work and a great opportunity to discuss the thriving arts and culture scene. The participating galleries offer the beginner or the most sophisticated art lover the chance to view many different types of mediums, paintings, folk art, sculptures, and pottery. The walking tour is very accessible from the new malecon in Puerto Vallarta and the Plaza Juarez and Hidalgo parking lots provide nearby parking access.
