Who We Are
Fundación Corazón de Niña is a registered not-for-profit organization in Mexico that provides a nurturing family environment for at-risk girls and boys. Most of our children and youth are victims of abandonment, abuse and/or exploitation. Their parents are largely deceased, incarcerated, in treatment for addictions or have disappeared. We currently have SIXTY children and youth – 30 boys and 30 girls – aged four to twenty-seven years. When they come to us, many are in deplorable health, some have disabilities, all are traumatized and needy. We have two homes side-by-side in Puerto Vallarta — one for the girls and one next door for the boys…
How We Exist
We survive on faith, our wits and the support of many beloved individuals, businesses, institutions, community groups and service organizations who volunteer their talents, labor, and financial and material resources to make Fundación Corazón de Niña the wonderful place it is. Fundación Corazón de Niña is entirely dependent on its loyal supporters for funding. We receive no stipends from local or state governments.
What We Do
We are the only residential resource in the State of Jalisco offering a permanent home for children and youth of both sexes and all ages allowing us to take in and/or reunite siblings of all ages.
We commit our all to our children — for life. We heal, nurture, educate and love, confident that the well-balanced adults they become will pay it forward.
