Lovely romantic, old colonial hacienda villa is the setting for Restaurant El Palomor De Los Gonzalez. It is decorated with family’s heirlooms and relics has served original family recipes since 1987. Candlelit tables, tropical plants and garden waterfall terrace overlook spectacular views of the city and the bay. Specializing in seafood, the menu offers: a huge seafood platter for two; Palomar fish fillet, jumbo shrimp (grilled or stuffed with ham and cheese); lobster, oyster or shrimp creamed soup; and tableside prepared Caesar. Other tantalizing items are: seven seas spaghetti; grilled chicken breast with sautéed asparagus; tostadas Yelapa (chopped tuna with Asian-style sauce); and filet mignon demi-glacé. End the evening with a flaming drink or bananas flambé. Strolling Andean musicians. One room displays women’s creations for sale. Reservations recommended Nov- April.
