The best Mexican restaurant in Puerto Vallarta celebrates its 15th anniversary with special events. From May to November there will be thematic dinners with chefs of national & international name.

Puerto Vallarta is a paradise that boasts an excellent climate. It is also considered as the gastronomic mecca of Jalisco’s north coast. To prove it, Carmen Porras & Claudia Victoria, owners of EL ARRAYÁN, are hosting some great events for the celebration of the 15th anniversary of the best Mexican restaurant in the Bay of Banderas.

To celebrate, the owners of this original concept, decided to delight the guests by bringing excellent Mexican
chefs from different regions of the country, with three special dinners from May to November 2018.
The first date will be on Saturday, May 12th, with three guest chefs from Mexico City: Carmen “Titita”, Maritere
Ramírez and Joan Bagur. This dinner is titled "Three masters of cuisine: Mexico and Menorca."
In the second dinner we will celebrate the 100 years of Puerto Vallarta, on Saturday, June 16 th , with dinner
prepared by EL ARRAYÁN’s chef Diego Sánchez & guest chef Karla Morales. He title for this event is: Flavors of Puerto Vallarta, regional cuisine. We will have a different dinner on Saturday, July 21st, with Chef Wilson Alonzo from Yucatán, Cuisine from Yucatán, delicious traditions.  The next hosted event will be a dinner during the month of November. The guest chef is close to confirm his participation and date. It will be announced soon.

El Arrayán since 2003

With an intimate atmosphere, and only a few blocks from Puerto Vallarta’s El Malecón boardwalk,

EL ARRAYÁN opened its doors in November 2003, in a building resembling a typical Mexican house. The restaurant offers a variety of authentic Mexican dishes, with roots in the best recipes of traditional cuisine, and ingredients of the highest quality. Among the objectives of the house is to promote the local economy, cooking with the most amount of fresh products of the region.

By serving regional cuisine from different states, we seek to reach lovers of good food from all over the world, with excellent service and great attention to detail, in a traditional and friendly atmosphere. In the decoration of the place there are abundant accents of Mexican art and furniture that remind us of the traditions and customs of our country.
