FlightHub, a Canadian-based online travel agency (OTA) founded in Montreal in 2012, sells flights, hotels, and car rentals and operates similarly to other large OTAs like Expedia, Priceline, and Kayak.
Puerto Vallarta shines in FlightHub 2025 Hot List using data from Q4 2024 and Q1–Q2 2025, benchmarked against the same periods in 2023–24, Unveiled analyzes booking patterns and travel trends across all destinations, providing a precise, data-driven view of shifting travel behaviors.
For travelers aged 57 and older, the top pick—dubbed the “Baby Boomer Bliss”—is Puerto Vallarta, which accounted for 32% of bookings from this age group. Its oceanfront walks, gallery-lined streets, and mix of local culture with familiar comforts make it a natural choice for return visitors and those embracing slow travel. Interestingly, the study also found that the most popular day to book travel is Tuesday, with 16% of all bookings made on that day.
This recognition underscores Puerto Vallarta’s continued appeal as a top LGBTQ+ travel destination, offering experiences that cater to all ages—from vibrant Puerto Vallarta gay nightlife to relaxing Puerto Vallarta gay beach clubs and immersive Puerto Vallarta LGBTQ+ tours.
