It’s been a few months since we last spoke to Studs Bear Bar. So how has the bar been received by the bear community and people from all over the world?
It couldn’t be better, thank you for asking. I hope you’re great too. About the bar, we are absolutely thrilled about the response of the people. Bears, daddies, queers, leather guys, everyone has given amazing feedback about STUDS bear bar. Not only people from PV who have become regulars at the bar, but also people from the US, Canada, and even visitors from other countries love the place.
What have you learned since the grand opening that you didn’t expect?
Well, it has been a couple of things, the first one, people were eager for a place where they could feel safe, comfortable, sexy and even desired. This includes men from all ages, shapes and likings. And the second one, PV really needed a bar with different music, we get a lot of compliments about the music, since it is pretty much the only place where you can find Tech-house beats.
Bear week is coming up and will be here in no time, are you getting excited?
Oh yeah, I love bear week, the first time I came to PV was during bear week, and got so in love that I decided to move here afterwards. Bear week is such a great opportunity to make new friends and connections, it is a wonderful time to meet old friends and even lovers.
This is your first Bear week since opening, without giving too much away, what can you tell us about your plans for Bear week?
We are very excited to collaborate with brands that are engaged on providing wonderful experiences to the bear community. STUDS will have a week full of activities, parties, Dj’s, gogos, bears, music, and much more. What a time to be a bear!
People will come in from all over the world for this event, but is there anything you would like to
day to the locals here in PV?
Of course! We are forever grateful for the support shown by the local community of bears, bear lovers, daddies and leather enthusiasts. They have been such a primordial part of the success of STUDS bear bar that they will always have special benefits like discounts or even no covers as a token of our appreciation. We love our local bears.
