Owner and nightlife visionary Tristan Schukraft, aka the “CEO of Everything Gay,” delivered a night that was nothing short of iconic, setting a new standard for gay luxury.
Tryst Puerto Vallarta Grand Opening festivities kicked off Friday April 25, 2025 with a Red Carpet Opening Night Party hosted by the ever-charming Matt Rogers, where Jennifer Coolidge made a surprise appearance that sent the crowd into a frenzy. As if that wasn’t enough, special guest Demi Lovato stunned attendees as she performed her hit 2015 song “Cool for the Summer” adding even more star power to the night. The evening ended in true Tryst fashion—with a rooftop fireworks spectacular lighting up the Puerto Vallarta sky. The energy didn’t stop as Leland and friends took over the DJ booth for a soundtrack as glittery as the guest list.
Speaking of the guest list at the Tryst Puerto Vallarta Grand Opening—it was star-studded. Icons and influencers from across the LGBTQ+ spectrum and beyond turned out, including Antoni Porowski, Wendy Guevara, TS Madison, Kate del Castillo, Julia Fox, Laverne Cox, Chrishell Stause, Sonja Morgan, Zane Phillips, and so many more. From drag royalty like Violet Chachki and Plastique Tiara to fashion icons, music legends, and social media stars, the night was a who’s who of queer excellence.
The Tryst Puerto Vallarta Grand Opening continues Saturday, April 26 with a Drag Brunch with special guests (12 PM) and a Rooftop Pool Party hosted by Erika Jayne with a special DJ set by Leland & friends (1 PM – 7 PM).
At The Tryst, the motto is simple: be your best self—even on your worst behavior. And if this night proved anything, it’s that the best version of yourself lives right here, dancing under the Puerto Vallarta stars. We are just getting started, the celebration continues with a drag brunch and pool party on Saturday.
