
Puerto Vallarta Receives Prague Direct Flight
Puerto Vallarta receives Prague direct flight from October to April 2025. The charter flight will arrive every Tuesday operated by the company DER Touristik.
The inaugural flight arrived to the Gustavo Díaz Ordaz International Airport Puerto Vallarta at 4:00 p.m. carrying 402 passengers who were met with great joy. mariachi music and welcome cocktails.
Puerto Vallarta Receives Prague Direct Flight which was welcomed by Puerto Vallarta media and city authorities including Jesús Alberto Chávez Delgado, Commander of the Federal Civil Aviation Agency (AFAC); Luis Villaseñor of the Puerto Vallarta Tourism Trust; Alejandra Cornejo, Director of Tourism and Economic Development of Puerto Vallarta; Martin Tušl, Head of the Economic and Commercial Section of the Embassy of the Czech Republic in Mexico and Yaromir Nechyba, from the Honorary Consulate of the Czech Republic in Guadalajara.
The German company DER Touristik reported the flight serves clients from the three main cities of the Czech Republic: Prague, Brno and Ostrava; it is also expected to attract passengers from neighbouring countries such as Germany, Poland, Slovakia and Austria.
In agreement with the tour operator, 19 Puerto Vallarta hotels will work to offer vacation packages to the travelers. The hotels are Sheraton Buganvilias Resort & Convention Center, Buenaventura and Hacienda Buenaventura, Villa Premiere, Costa Sur, Krystal Puerto Vallarta, Sunscape, Dreams and Secrets Puerto Vallarta, Friendly and Mío hotels, Vamar, Meliá, Plaza Pelícanos Grand and Sunset, Canto del Sol, Hotel Rosita, El Pescador and Delfín.
“Over the six months that this charter will be operating, we expect more than 10 thousand European tourists, not only from the Czech Republic, but also from Germany, Austria, Poland, among other countries. Without a doubt, under this new scheme in alliance with the hotel sector, a new market will open for Puerto Vallarta, in addition to potential visitors for Tequila and Guadalajara,” said Vanessa Pérez Lamas, Secretary of Tourism of Jalisco.
Puerto Vallarta receives Prague direct flight as Luis Villaseñor, from the city’s Tourism Trust, commented: “Puerto Vallarta adds new connectivity from Europe, now with the arrival of Czech visitors looking to immerse themselves in culture, nature and our beautiful beaches bathed in plenty of sun.”
Cryshtian José Amador Lizardi, director of the Puerto Vallarta Airport, highlighted that the Puerto Vallarta terminal continues to modernize its infrastructure to meet the growing demand of passengers: “The Puerto Vallarta International Airport is prepared to meet the growth derived from the link between influential international destinations and our city. During 2023, more than 6.7 million passengers passed through our airport and with the inauguration of terminal 2 in 2026, this number will multiply.”
Puerto Vallarta receives Prague direct flight giving Puerto Vallarta air connections through 20 airlines that cover 55 direct routes between national and international, which will see a great increase once terminal 2 of the airport is completed, currently under construction.
