VivaAerobus Reaffirms Its Commitment To Diversity in Puerto Vallarta

VivaAerobus a national low cost airline reaffirmed its commitment to LGBTQ diversity by inaugurating its sales counter (called tienda in the Spanish article) inside the Puerto Vallarta airport with a permanent rainbow as part of its logo. On June 22, 2021 the official ceremony was attended by airline officials and Luis Villasenor, Director of the Fideicomiso of Puerto Vallarta; Susana Rodríguez, Jalisco Tourism Secretariat’s Director of Beach Tourism; Martha Meza Aréchiga, Vallarta International Airport’s Public Relations Manager; and, Lorena Amor, recently winner of the Miss Trans Global Mexico. In an official statement to GAYPV Magazine, Villasenor said “this pride sales counter is to honor the importance of the LGBTQ community and travelers to Puerto Vallarta because it is only being done in Puerto Vallarta and is year round, not just during June pride month.”
