More than any regular event, the POSH PVR Escape represents the formalization of a new market segment in PV tourism: the high-value, professional Black LGBTQ+ traveler.Â
For four days, the traditional circuit party is replaced by a curated new sound of Afrobeats, R&B, Hip-Hop, and Reggae. Every ticket to POSH PVR 2026 carries a mission. A portion of all proceeds is dedicated to Rainbow Railroad, an international organization that helps LGBTQ+ individuals escape state-sponsored violence and reach safety. Safe & Seamless Transportation
Puerto Vallarta is one of the safest destinations in Mexico, but moving like a local is key. For the “Tribe” moving between venues:
Authorized Taxis: If you use a local taxi, always use the yellow “Sitio” taxis. Agree on the fare before you get in (usually 60–100 pesos within the Romantic Zone) and be sure to check carefully when you leave for any valuables.

Walkability: Most POSH PVR events at Almar and Mantamar are within a 5-10 minute walk of the main gay neighborhood.

Absolutely. Puerto Vallarta is consistently ranked as one of the safest and most welcoming destinations in Mexico. The “Romantic Zone” is a dedicated LGBTQ+ district where safety is the community standard. POSH PVR further enhances this by creating a “Tribe” environment where we move, celebrate, and network together.
What is the weather like in Puerto Vallarta during the event?
POSH PVR Escape 2026 The Luxury Niche Takeover is in July so it technically is during Puerto Vallarta’s “rainy season.” Do not be alarmed as it scares many tourists who think this is a monsoon rain for days and days at at time. During this time it could rain in fact very heavy but that usually happens late afternoon, evening and at night. The rain usually lasts a few short hours and includes thunder and lightning but it very rarely last a whole day.
The temperatures are hot and humid with the peak humidity from 2 to 7pm during the day. Yes. Unlike traditional circuit events that often silo travelers, the POSH Tribe is a unified community. Our events are designed for Black LGBTQ+ men and women to celebrate and network in the same luxury spaces.
How do I get to the TBA locations?
All secret locations and nightclub takeovers will be revealed to ticket holders via the official event app and email. Most venues are within a 5-10 minute Uber ride from the Almar Resort #380 Amapas.
