Jalisco Secretary Going To NYC Pride 2025. The head of the Jalisco Government’s Tourism Secretariat Michelle Fridman Hirsch, announced that she will attend New York Pride 2025 June 29, 2025. She was in Puerto Vallarta gay pride parade in May 2025 and last weekend she was at the Guadalajara parade and festival.

Fridman Hirsch Jalisco Secretary Going To NYC Pride 2025 said she will promote Jalisco and confirm its leadership as an inclusive LGBTQ+ tourist destination in Latin America and encourage the construction of a discrimination-free environment.

The Jalisco Tourism Secretariat noted that Puerto Vallarta and Guadalajara Pride Marches drew more than 420,000 people, which reaffirms Jalisco’s position as an epicenter of diversity, a driving force for tourism and the economy, promoting inclusive spaces that attract visitors from around the world. This pride transcends borders and strengthens the region’s social and economic development.

Jalisco Secretary going to NYC Pride 2025 after a successful month of pride celebrations in Mexico.  Tourism officials are excited to bring the state’s pride and diversity to New York Pride one of the largest LGBTQ+ events in the world.

The pride celebration will begin Friday, June 27, at HERITAGE – The Official NYC Pride Party , an event with an estimated social media reach of 700,000. In this space, Jalisco will feature a publicity area, located across the East River, with monumental letters of the state that will reinforce its image as a safe and welcoming destination for the LGBTQ+ community.

Jalisco Secretary going To NYC Pride 2025 on June 29 and will have a prominent role in the Pride March with an estimated 2.3 million people expected to attend. The Jalisco Tourism Department will participate with a float showcasing the iconic Jalisco letters, a live mariachi group, and a group of prominent influencers—including one with over 2 million followers and ten others each with more than 20,000 followers. Additionally, 100 participants will join the contingent, with 20 riding on the float itself, proudly bringing a message of diversity and Jalisco pride to the streets of New York.

That same day, the delegation will participate in PrideFest , a festival with an estimated attendance of 250,000. Jalisco will once again have a space to promote its inclusive tourism offerings.

Last year, a delegation of 20 representatives from Puerto Vallarta gay pride attended New York Gay Pride 2024 including then interim mayor, Francisco José Martínez Gil; the president of the Municipal System for the Comprehensive Development of the Family (DIF), Eugenia López Ventura; and council members María Elena Curiel Preciado and Pablo Ruperto Gómez. It was an official trip as part of the celebrations between the Puerto Vallarta gay pride and New York City.

Nationally, LGBTQ+ tourism represents between 5 and 7 percent of the sector’s GDP with an annual growth of 10 percent. On average, LGBTQ+ tourists spend around $1,700 in Mexico, with stays of up to 15 days.
