The Location Amapas #380 colonia Amapas

Mantamar opened in 2014 and is located almost next to Blue Chair Resort on the famous Los Muerto Beach in the romantic zone of Puerto Vallarta. It features a large sand area with many lounge chairs covered with umbrellas and several luxury gazebos with wooden floors and plus furniture. The famous seahorse on Los Muertos Beach is almost directly in front of the beach club.

The beach from Mantamar, next door Green Chairs, Blue Chairs resort, and Sapphire Ocean Club make up the unofficial “gay beach” of Puerto Vallarta. This is not a nude beach, but serves as the offical congregation of the LGBTQ+ community in Puerto Vallarta during the day.

As an adults only, gay beach club expect a real beach party vibe. From incredible resident DJs and international guest musicians, special themed event pool parties including the White Party Puerto Vallarta was traditionally held during every major event weekend.
Mantamar features 2 large inverted v shaped palapa roofs supported by wooden tree type beams with open air sides. The feel is luxurious and modern with vip areas.

The main amenity is the large infinity pool with 3 jacuzzis. There is a small square box pool with see thru glass sides located up high overlooking the infinity pool area with amazing views of the bay that is also very popular. Another popular feature of the infinity pool is the swim up bar feature in the main pool area. Paid entrance to the beach club includes a large beach towels and unlimited use of the facilites for the day

The restaurant of Mantamar Beach Club features some tables under the covered palapa with a lunch menu of salads, Mexican snacks and seafood dishes, sandwiches and burgers, pizza and quite a large sushi menu.
