SETAC & Amaria Villas & Sisters Of Perpetual Indulgence Discuss Pride 2021

SETAC & Amaria Villas & Sisters Of Perpetual Indulgence discuss Vallarta Pride 2021. The coronavirus pandemic crippled tourism in 2020 as many Puerto Vallarta gay businesses were closed or were only allowed limited capacity. SETAC, Puerto Vallarta’s Community Center suffered tremendously as they were not able to produce any fundraising events and donations stopped since the pandemic began. Things are improving and many local Puerto Vallarta businesses have organized events during Puerto Vallarta Gay Pride 2021 to support SETAC. Owners from one of Puerto Vallarta’s newest gay businesses, Amaria Villas, took the initiative to contact the Sisters Of The Perpetual Indulgence in the United States to determine how to help raise money. The result is a great interview with Paco Arnoja from SETAC, Amaria Villas owners Trevor Curtis and Charlie Cole, Richard Smith of Puerto Vallarta, and Sister Mary Fallin about the upcoming events for Puerto Vallarta Gay Pride 2021.

Paco Arnoja talks about the important PREP program and its success with Puerto Vallarta’s sex workers and transgender community. The PreP program is set to expire soon and SETAC needs the funding for the doctors and staff expenses required. He also states that Puerto Vallarta Gay Pride has announced a donation to be given to SETAC at the VIP Cocktail reception Friday May 28, 2021.

Amaria Villas has a full week of events planned. Everything from clothing optional camping, the Red Dress Party and Night of The Fireflies events are going to be amazing. Many other local Puerto Vallarta businesses like The Palm Cabaret, Act 2 Entertainment, Hotel Mercurio, Casa Cupula, Pink and Proud PV and Hamburger Mary’s have announced events supporting SETAC during Pride Week 2021.
