Vallarta Gay Community Center Continues Prep Distribution and Announces Fundraisers. We are thrilled to announce the establishment of the Vallarta Gay+ Community Center, an initiative that aims to uplift and support our diverse community through health care & community building. Here are the key details you need to know:
- The Vallarta Gay+ Community Center is launching a new health organization focused on essential services. We are currently offering PrEP, PEP, DoxyPep and STI testing to all, with plans to expand into community activities and additional programs in the near future.
- PEP, or Post-Exposure Prophylaxis, is a crucial drug that prevents HIV transmission for those who have engaged in unprotected sex. By taking PEP responsibly, individuals can greatly lower the risk of infection.
- Doxycycline Post-Exposure Prophylaxis (DoxyPEP), is an antibiotic that is taken after sex (24H), to prevent getting a sexually transmitted infection (STI). A morning-after pill for STIs.

One of our first fundraisers will take place on Wednesday, February 21st at the beautiful Oasis Condominium in El Caloso. Enjoy a captivating evening featuring a cocktail reception and the sensational duo, Brandon and James. Everyone is welcome with a requested minimum donation of $600 pesos, and all proceeds will directly support the Vallarta Gay+ Community Center.
