Joan Rivers Knew Where To Get The Best Seafood In Puerto Vallarta. Everyone knows what a huge icon Joan Rivers was for the LGBTQ+ community. She loved and visited Puerto Vallarta as much as we do. Our friends from The Blue Shrimp Puerto Vallarta restaurant were lucky to welcome her on December 25th, 2013 for lunch. She came to Puerto Vallarta for Christmas & New Year’s Eve holidays. During her visit to The Blue Shrimp, she arrived with 8 other LGBTQ+ friends and they enjoyed delicious seafood, margaritas and the sunset. They sat at the famous beachfront deck at tables 17 and 18 of the restaurant.
The Blue Shrimp staff stated Joan was a “Really nice and funny person and so glamorous” She even gifted the owner and host 2 scarfs of her brand and took a picture with them.
Next time you visit Puerto Vallarta take your gay friends to The Blue Shrimp and live the experience as Joan Rivers did. She knew where to find the best seafood in the Bay and so will you. Joan we miss you!
