Act2PV opens Ovations Piano Bar on June 16, 2024 at the opening summer season show”Vallarta-Chic” Gala. The event also marked the grand opening of Vallarta’s newest entertainment venue, MARY ANN’S OVATIONS PIANO BAR and was hosted by Liberace & David Maiocco.
Act2PV opens Ovations Piano Bar attendees enjoyed delicious pasta and salad prepared by Act2PV’s new general manager, David Sabella, along with cookies donated by Marsha Ward Ross. Congratulations to Vallarta-favorite Bing Young, who won the 50/50 drawing!
Act2PV proudly announces that over $8,000 USD was raised towards their $20,000 goal for the Capital Campaign/Elevator Installation at Act2PV. Special thanks go to Casa Karma, Unique ATV Tours, Cassandra Shaw Jewelry, Tom Bernes, and Mary Ann Renaldue for their generous auction donations.

Greatest Show on Earth
Act2PV opens Ovations Piano Bar on the opening night of its popular FREE “Greatest Show on Earth” to a packed house. Hosted by Act2PV’s new general manager, David Sabella, the audience enjoyed a lineup of 10 talented performers.
Accompanied on the piano by “Mr. Liberace” (David Maiocco from New York City), David Sabella opened the show with an entertaining song and story about his experience of auditioning and being cast as Mary Sunshine in the Broadway revival of “Chicago!”
Act2PV opens Ovations Piano Bar with 10 outstanding performers including Stephanie Wright Watts, Steven Retchless, Gabriela Heart, Yutzil Mar, Montse SD, Sargento Dan, Gloria Fiona, Reina Elizabeth, Sarah Joy Heckbert, and Cate Valcic (producer of the show).
One of the highlights of Act2PV opens Ovations Piano Bar was an incredible piano mashup of Irving Berlin and Ravel, performed by David Maiocco and sung by David Sabella.
Act2PV is thrilled to showcase the talents of Vallarta entertainers every week and is excited to welcome the great pianist David Maiocco, who will be performing at Act2PV several times a week during July and August this year.
Rumor has it he will also be hosting a new cabaret show at Act2 called “Liberaunchy” in the upcoming season!
