Q – As a local creator/ambassador, what does it mean as a creator to host the first international Collab Week in Puerto Vallarta?

A “As a content creator it is a great honor to be an ambassador hosting the first International Collab Week in Puerto Vallarta. I was so flattered when I got the message and I immediately said yes because it felt like the rare opportunity to be part of something special.

“For me, this means a lot not only as a content creator but as a Latino. Very often, we don’t get the representation we deserve in this industry. Being part of this project is a great chance to showcase our creativity, our identity, and our passion. I am proud to represent my community and connect with people who can see themselves in my journey—people who share the same energy, warmth, and fire that we Latinos possess.

Also, I think it’s an opportunity to inspire others to show that Latinos can create, lead, and collaborate on an international level while staying true to who we are.”

Q – How do you see Collab Week impacting or influencing the local content creator scene in PV?

A – As a content creator based in Puerto Vallarta, I think hosting the first international Collab Week here will have a huge positive impact. I’m sure it won’t be the last event held here because events like this bring so much more than just content creation. It also build experiences, personal relationships and a sense of community spirit.

It’s amazing to have something like this happening in Puerto Vallarta  Mexico, since most of these type of collaborations usually take place in cities across Europe or the U.S. Having it here makes it much more accessible for local and national creators who might not have the opportunity or means to travel to the US or Europe.

At the same time, this is also a great opportunity for international content creators to discover Puerto Vallarta. Many of them might have never been here or even heard of Puerto Vallarta as a great destination to collaborate. This event gives them a reason to explore something new, step out of their comfort zone, and experience why Puerto Vallarta is recognized as one of the best LGBTQ+ destinations in the world to collaborate Honestly, it just makes perfect sense to host it here.

Also, projects like this not only support creators like us but also boost the local economy everything from hotels and restaurants to the entire local economy. “

Inside Collab Week Puerto Vallarta 2025: JFF Founder Dominic Ford on Why PV Was Chosen

Q – Why was Puerto Vallarta chosen to be the first location for the first Collab Week outside of the US?

A –”It has been a goal of mine to do some version of our JFF Conference (which has been in Las Vegas and Palm Springs) outside of the USA. There are so many models who can’t get to the USA either because of political/visa reasons or because it’s simply too expensive. So, doing an event in Latin America, and providing an event to a whole group of models who have never experienced something like this before, has been paramount.

I live in PV half the year and a group of us were talking about wanting to do a collab week here. The timing was right for us as a company to start launching our own events around the world, and I am well entrenched in the PV community. So doing it here was an obvious choice. I love PV so much, and now hundreds of models who have never been here are going to get to experience it too.”

Q – What is the initial feedback from ambassadors and participating models regarding having this Collab Week in Puerto Vallarta compared to previous US-based events?

A – “Everyone is so excited. There is always such a difference when you get to immerse yourself in a different culture, and I know models are looking forward to learning more about PV, absorbing the rich culture that is here, and making memories (and videos) they will always remember.

Moreover, US-based models are going to get to meet many models not from the US, broadening their horizons and working with talent from other countries and cultures they might not easily run into otherwise. Events like this show us how small the world really is and how we as a community can support each other, even from great distances.”

Q – What are you looking for in content creators or brand ambassadors for the event?

A – We want people with great energy who will uplift and enhance the experience. We are going to fill PV with hot guys of all different types, who are going to have an experience they’ll never forget. We looked for models who interact with others (models who just do solos, for example, would not be the right fit); and guys with an adventurous attitude who will embrace being in a different culture for a week.

It’s going to be an incredible week in PV, and we are grateful for all the local venues and businesses who are hosting events, offering discounts, and welcoming our models to town. I love PV so much that I live here half the year; I can’t wait for all these guys, who have never been here, to fall in love with it too.”
