Expedia Releases Report For 2021 Best Airline Flight Travel TipsExpedia Releases Best Airline Flight Travel Tips To Puerto Vallarta.  Expedia.com released its 2021 Travel Trends Report analyzing traveler data to uncover the best airline flight travel tips for booking during the COVID 19 pandemic and what travelers can expect for 2020 and 2021. Top-searched destinations for 2021 include beach destinations where Puerto Vallarta is listed as #14.

 

Here are some highlights from the report

Most travelers purchased flights less than 1 month out. In 2019, the average U.S. traveler booked flights around 35 days in advance of their departure date. Travelers are now purchasing flights just 29 days out. This is the first time in years that the average advance purchase window has dropped below the 30-day mark.
 
Best day of the week to book your trip is Sunday
For domestic flights, book on Sunday to save around 15 percent
For international flights, book on Sunday to save more than 20 percent
Best day of the week to Depart for your vacation: Thursday or Friday
For domestic flights, start your trip on Friday to save around 20 percent
For international flights, start your trip on Thursday to save nearly 25 percent
