✈️ Flying to PV: Industry-Wide Travel Waivers & Extensions
While United Airlines has been the most vocal by extending their “Jalisco Civil Unrest” waiver through March 31, 2026, they aren’t the only ones helping travelers stay flexible. Most major carriers serving Puerto Vallarta (PVR) have activated “Goodwill Policies” to ensure your spring plans are protected. This is the “logistical safety net” that allows you to book with confidence, knowing you can pivot your dates if needed.

💡 GAYPV Pro-Tip: “The Pivot”
Don’t think of a waiver as a “warning”—think of it as a free schedule upgrade. * The Play: If you were originally booked on a mid-week flight, use the waiver to move your arrival to Thursday, March 12.
The Win: You’ll land just in time for the Fairyland Opening Party at Mantamar Beach Club with zero change fees and zero fare difference.
Puerto Vallarta is safe, open, and operating normally. The U.S. Embassy has officially lifted the shelter-in-place orders, and the city is vibrant. From the dance floors of the Romantic Zone to the sunset sails on the bay, the only thing missing is you.
