Puerto Vallarta drops vaccine certificate requirement 

Effective March 17, 2022, Puerto Vallarta has adopted the following new relaxed COVID-19 protocols:

1.-The requirement to present the certificate or proof of vaccination to enter businesses and events is eliminated.
2.- The use of face masks is maintained in open outdoor public and closed indoor, unventilated spaces.
3.- 100% capacity for events is approved.
4.- All sanitary filters, mats, and thermometers can be removed from business entrances, except alcohol gel.
5.- Religious festivities may be held prior notice to the SSJ to review health protocols.

These new protocols are in effect until May 8, 2022.

Jalisco health authorities urge everyone to continue implementing preventive measures to minimize the spread of COVID-19 infections, such as: correct use of face masks, avoiding crowds, respecting the social distance of 1.5 meters between people and use of alcohol gel. If you show any symptoms such as fever, cough, headache and sore throat, do not self-medicate, isolate yourself and get a Covid-19 a test (meeting the established criteria), to confirm or rule out the disease.
