Nestled just one block from the picturesque beach, The Porch is a vibrant and inviting breakfast cafe that promises to delight locals and visitors alike with its blend of culinary excellence and relaxed coastal charm.
Owners Brian Kent, Bryan Stocks and Roger Allen, the esteemed proprietors of the renowned One Six One, Judy’s and Anonimo Bar collectively, bring their industry expertise and passion for hospitality to The Porch. Under their visionary leadership, The Porch is poised to become a beloved culinary destination, catering to those seeking a delectable breakfast experience in a captivating seaside setting.
Chef Omar, a culinary virtuoso renowned for his innovative approach to breakfast cuisine, stands at the helm of The Porch’s kitchen bringing his experience from The Sheraton, The Hilton and La Palapa. With a dedication to crafting dishes that combine local flavors and international influences, Chef Omar is set to elevate the morning dining experience to new heights, one delectable dish at a time.
The Porch operates daily from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. closed on Tuesdays, inviting guests to indulge in a delightful breakfast affair amidst the cozy beach adjacent surroundings. Additionally, in the coming months, The Porch plans to extend its offerings by opening a vibrant after beach bar from 2 p.m. to 10 p.m., which will feature handcrafted cocktails and an inviting post beach ambiance once the establishment’s full liquor license is finalized.

Randy, the owner of La Terraza Inn located above the cafe, also a pastry chef, was a true inspiration in revitalizing the cafe, the very place he had breathed life into two decades ago. The Porch promises to be a haven for breakfast enthusiasts, offering an unparalleled menu, warm hospitality, and an ambiance that captures the essence of Puerto Vallarta’s coastal charm.
