Where were you born and live currently?
I was born in Venezuela and I have been living in this beautiful city of Puerto Vallarta for 5 years. 

What brought you to Puerto Vallarta? 
It was totally random. I never imagined coming here, but many friends kept telling me about Puerto Vallarta.  I was curious to come and see for myself so I did. Once I arrived, I saw the opportunity to settle, grow and to have a business so I decided to live here full time.

Puerto Vallarta is one of the top international gay travel destinations. Why do you think  this is and how does Puerto Vallarta compare to other major cities for gay travel? 
I attribute this to the warmth and friendliness of the people and how they welcome you when you arrive. I felt at home here with the freedom to do whatever I wanted as long as it was done with respect.

It is a true paradise here with everything we have: Beach, rivers, great restaurants, fun, and beautiful sunsets.

This is the best place to vacation and finding all this in one city, I think that is what makes Puerto Vallarta different from the rest of other top gay destinations.

If you are visiting Vallarta, why should you consider doing a cosmetic treatment also? Vacation is a time to relax and to feel good about yourself. If you can complement vacation with a treatment that will help you look and feel better about yourself, that is giving yourself real self-love. People go to a spa to relax on vacation. Getting a cosmetic treatment is the same. 

Some procedures don’t interfere or require a change in your vacation daily routine. Generally, just remember all treatments require you to avoid direct exposure to the sun, especially post-procedure.

You the owner of Michael ruiz cosmetology? Where did you train and what do you specialize in?
Yes, I am the owner of Michael Ruiz cosmetology in Puerto Vallarta.  I studied in Venezuela as a technician in clinical laboratories and later here in Mexico.  I enrolled at Vallarta Spa Academy and graduated with a degree in Cosmetology and Body Aesthetics. 

In Guadalajara I took additional training at Perfetto Academy, where I specialize in facial skin care treatments such as deep facial cleansing, facial hydration. PRP rejuvenation, and my personal favorite the RUSSIAN LIPS filler technique.

My office is located in the romantic zone Manuel M Dieguez #369. This is across from the Pemex at Road 200 Mismaloya Highway.

You also have your own swimwear brand.  What is the name of your brand and tell us about the styles, colors and production.
Yes, I have a brand of swimsuits for men called ELMR. It is a premium brand of clothing with sexy, original designs. It is created for everyone and all sizes.

It is produced in Mexico with materials imported from Colombia. We have an endless number of colors, designs and custom designs per request. 

We have many sexy styles and designs found at my store located in the zona at Insurgentes #228 located here .  The store hours are 10am to 9pm.
