Pinata PV Hotel celebrates its 10th anniversary this year. In the fall of 2014, after years of meticulous design, creativity and construction, Piñata PV Hotel opened it’s doors for the first time to guests. Today, 10 years later, Piñata PV is a thriving hotel intently focused on creating an amazing guest experience.
What is it that makes Piñata PV Hotel special?
Piñata PV Hotel is specifically designed to be a relaxing, connected and special experience for our guests. We have 8 rooms which allows for us to have attentive and specialized service for all guests, at all times. From the moment of arrival, our team is focused on removing as many friction points as possible that are common to the travel experience and delight our guests.
The property itself is built to provide both privacy and tranquility while being in the best location in Zona Romantica with the most popular nightlife, the best restaurants and the beach all just steps from our front door.
Our new pool, jacuzzi and steam room are the highest quality including being built from the materials used by the ancient mayans to build the pyramids on the Yucatan peninsula.
Our central bar and art gallery are the heartbeat of the hotel where our guests regularly meet, connect and quickly become travel friends. So many of our repeat guests schedule their holidays at the same times as previous guests that they have met because they love to continue their holidays year after year.
Our 8 rooms, all with their unique qualities, are designed with the highest level of comfort and quality. We provide high quality linens, bedding, toiletries and room amenities. The pillows and mattresses are specially sourced and the highest quality. We have redundant internet services with the fastest broadband speeds available in Mexico (with a full back-up service provider just in case there is a service slowdown at any point). And, every room is completely refreshed from floor to ceiling to like new status each summer during our break.
But what really makes the hotel special is our level of cleanliness and the team that cares for the property and our guests.
You mentioned cleanliness – I have read your reviews on both Google and Trip Advisor and the highest level of satisfaction regarding hotel cleanliness and that it is always mentioned. What are you doing that makes this such a stand out for guests?
We are hyper focused on providing an impeccably clean property. There is nothing more important to a guest’s experience. From the minute you start to approach the hotel from the street you will see our detailed approach to cleaning. Our pool, jacuzzi, steam room, gym and all common areas are cleaned thoroughly multiple times a day. The room experience is especially a stand out for us with guests. Our team has a meticulous method for cleaning and take great pride in caring for our property. Our guests’ joke with us that the team cleans every single palm leave on every palm tree, one by one, to remove any dust. And this is true – we do!
Another high point from guests that we have talked with is the incredible team that work at the hotel. Can you tell us a bit more about your team?
The team at Piñata PV Hotel is unlike any other. The “Piñata Chicos” as they are affectionately referred to by many guests are kind, helpful and attentive guys. They thrive getting to know our guests and finding ways to go above and beyond . They treat the property as they would their home, and that attention to detail is what is standout and unique. To give you some perspective, we have triple the amount staff to guest ratio at Piñata as other hotels of the same size. The majority of our team has been working at the property for many years and are highly respected.
What do you see for the future of the hotel and guest experience?
We see a very bright future ahead! Remaining a small property with specialized service is very important to us. We invest in property upgrades every year as we believe we must constantly improve the experience as we believe that is why we have so many return guests year after year. We also have some surprises planned for 2025!
