Act2PV has big changes for 2024 and upcoming season and is raising the standard of Puerto Vallarta cabaret entertainment. The theatre announces management additions, new shows and schedules featuring international top-tier Broadway and Cabaret performers and a redesign of ACT2PV’s facility to optimize space and enhance guest experience.

David Sabella added as Act2PV has big changes for 2024/2025
Award winning singer, actor, author and voice teacher David Sabella has joined the ACT2PV team as general manager, events producer and donor relations director. David is best known for the Broadway musical CHICAGO and the internationally recognized countertenor whom Luciano Pavarotti declared “Excellent, not good, excellent!”
Sabella served as a two-term president of the New York Singing Teachers’ Association (NYSTA) and as an executive director of the Broadway Theatre Project.
You may recall David bringing his outrageous live-singing drag show, “Amanda Reckonwith – Diva 2.0,” to Act2PV in March 2024.
Melody Bar becomes the new Ovations Piano Bar
As Act2PV has big changes for 2024/2025 season, they will redesign and remodel the “Melody Bar” into the brand-new “Ovations Piano Bar!” where great musicians entertain in a beautiful, comfortable setting. Ovations will feature unique entertainment, with special showtimes, making it Puerto Vallarta’s newest entertainment destination, and it will include a late night cabaret bar!
Ovations celebrated its soft opening May 19, 2024 where everyone stayed after to meet the artists and enjoy the atmosphere at the NEW Destination Piano Bar!
Enjoy Yamada Japanese Cuisine at both the Ovations Piano Bar (OPV) and the new “Terrace Bar,” making it possible for dinner and a show… before the show!
The remodeled Ovations Piano Bar will have an entirely new vibe, with some of PV’s best entertainers, where you can relax and enjoy the music with your favorite cocktail!
As Act2PV makes big changes for 2024, the entertainment schedules and showtimes of The Casa Karma Red Room and Ovations Piano Bar will be staggered, allowing guests the opportunity to see more than one great performance in one evening.
Addition of the NEW Terrace Bar
The new outdoor Terrace Bar, located at the front of the building on the second level, overlooks Basilio Badillo Street. When Act2PV makes big changes for 2024, it will feature a full bar with table-seating, as well as special music and lighting! The Terrace Bar will open at Happy Hour (4pm) and extend through the evening. Visitors to the Casa Karma Red Room will also be able to enjoy the Terrace Bar before and after a show.
Main Stage offering Broadway Icons Jan 10, 2025-March 15, 2025
Danny’s Main Stage Theatre will be hosting a special event series of the following Broadway Icons offering two performances each between January 10, 2025 and March 15, 2025.
➤ Lorna Luft – Emmy Award-winning Broadway, Film and Television Star, and daughter of the iconic Judy Garland
➤ Lilias White – Drama Desk, Obie, and TONY Award Winner (Best Featured Actress in a Musical “The Life”), fresh from her starring Broadway role in “Hadestown.”
➤ John Lloyd Young – Drama Desk, Grammy, and TONY Award Winner (Best Featured Actor in a Musical “Jersey Boys”)
➤ Sam Harris – Motown Recording Artist, Broadway legend, and Grand Champion of America’s first television singing competition, Star Search!
