Chachalacabar Puerto Vallarta gay bar statement on reopening after COVID-19. We are targeting a July 7th re-open date. We are working with regulators to foster a welcomed partnership in safety. All protocols are in place and we are working on the new menu! We are excited to begin the opening process. We also know that COVID-19 is NOT over and we continue to see cases rise. We agree with the Governor of Jalisco that it is up to all of us to follow the protocols to keep each other safe. Chachalaca will have a zero-tolerance for non-compliance. The number one reason is for the safety and security of our team and customers. First and foremost, health is important, even as we are opening and work to recover economically. We will strictly enforce and follow all sanitary protocols. We will not concern ourselves with how other businesses are enforcing or not enforcing protocols, we will follow the rules. Please follow staff instructions; the team is excited to get back to work and their goal is to ensure you have a wonderful time during your visit. We can do this with a little help from you 
Tables are spaced 2 meters apart with a maximum of 4 (possible 5) at each table. Seating at the bar is limited. We can seat parties of 8 in our VIP section; however, we will not move tables to accommodate large parties at this time. The mandate for a customer’s time in the establishment is 1.5 hours, we are certain we can make that time well worth it. You MUST order from our food menu in order to drink. We have to follow this rule 100%. You will find our menu has a plethora of options. For those who know Chachalaca, you know our food will be made fresh and only use the freshest ingredients. While your mask may be off to drink and eat, please be sure to put it on when you use the facilities and before you exit. Please allow us to wipe your table down during your visit. Keeping clean is a top priority. Need sanitizer, just ask! We have plenty.
