Christopher Tinajero international model and professional makeup artist

GAYPV features Christopher Tinajero, international model and professional makeup artist who is frequently seen in Puerto Vallarta.

Where were you born and where do you live?
I was born in Cuernavaca, Mexico and live between there and Mexico City because I am currently studying in Mexico City.
You are a professional model. How did that start Tell and what brands you represent?
I have always enjoyed modeling from a very early age. I joined a local swim team when I was 12 years old and remained until 18 years old. Therefore I had a swimmers body and many modeling jobs came then. I needed to hit the gym to add muscle and now I love working out and maintaining a healthy lifestyle.  I represent JJ Malibu, Zuppo and Torso underwear, Versace commercials and in 2022 a TV commercials for Toyota. I have hosted many events and parties all over the world including White Party Palm Springs.
What are your future professional goals?
I just completed 1 year of a 2 year program at Seicento Make Up School in Mexico City.  I will be finished next November with a certification as a professional makeup artist and want to be a professional make up artist.
You also enjoy designing costumes. Show us some of the costumes you have designed.
I absolutely love designing costumes because I can really express my total creativity through designing the costume and completing the final characterization in makeup. I won 2nd place in a 2023 Halloween Costume Contest with the catwoman costume.

What professional achievements-awards are you the most proud of so far?
Being one of the main models for JJ Malibu catalog in Canada.
What are your favorite restaurants in PV?
I love Mar y Vino, Azafran, breakfast at Cafe San Angel where tourists and locals interact. Yes I do love eating tacos at the corner taco stand.
What are some cities you want to visit?
Mykonos, Turkey or Thailand.
Why is PV special to the LGBTQ traveler ?
Puerto Vallarta is the #1 gay destination in Latin America. You can have the exact vacation you want in PV- you can be a party animal every night or just relax on the beach. It is secure, there is so much to do and there is a party every night.
How would you compare PV as a gay travel destination to other larger cities like Barcelona, Mykonos, Ibiza?
PV is similar to the larger gay destinations because there is a lot of parties in Vallarta. There are always international travelers I meet and even network with  in Puerto Vallarta but it is nice to have this top gay destination in Mexico versus having to travel to Europe.
How does someone follow you?
