Puerto Vallarta gay bars after Covid 19

puerto vallarta gay bars

So welcome to the current reality in Puerto Vallarta gay bars after Covid 19, atleast for now. Here is a recent facebook post from Matt Oltman, a frequent visitor to Puerto Vallarta’s gay scene who visited La Noche June 25, 2020.

Most everything is open, but with some strict (and good) rules. Seating capacity is limited. You need to be at a table (at least have one as a home base). Max 4 per table. Face masks are required to enter. Temperatures are checked. Hand and foot sanitizing is required. You are also required to order food — this allows the bars to officially be classified as “restaurants.” Live performances, dancing, and congregating isn’t allowed. They are piping in a live drag show from somewhere. Glad to see so many friends able to work again! Kevin, the owner here at La Noche has paid all of his employees (bartenders and performers) throughout the entire quarantine. For that, he deserves a medal! If you come to PV, be sure to patronize La Noche and thank him for keeping all of our favorite bar tender, drag queens and go-gos fed and housed.

The Super Wendy show was done virtually and shown on the big screen at 8:30pm. You can request your songs from home and tips to Super Wendy can be given here. paypal.me/Delapazrodriguez

CC Slaughters (above) opened June 25, 2020 with the new CC Slaughter’s Bites restaurant from 2pm until 12 midnight. Since being closed March 17, 2020 some PV gay bars announce reopening as a restaurant/bar with strict safety protocols and food consumption requirements on June 25, 2020. Some protocols in place to enter the bar would be, without any exception.

  • The purchase of alcohol requires the consumption of food in the bars.
Expect to wear a mask or shield face covering
You are required to order 1 item of food to drink alcohol
4 person limit per table with 1.5 hour of consumption time allowed
Safe distancing spacing required at all times
Live entertainment is not allowed at this time. The dance floors are NOT OPEN and CONGREGATING with other people is not allowed.

Thanks to Matt Oltman for permission to share his comments on La Noche Bar.

Note from the Editor. GAYPV promotes that everyone follow the safety and safe distance protocols issued by Health officals at all times
