Puerto Vallarta promotes At FITUR 2025. FITUR held its 45th edition January 22-26,2025 in Madrid Spain as one of the largest international travel and tourism events with more than 150,000 in attendance. Luis Villasenor, Puerto Vallarta Tourism Trust Director attended with Luis Munguía, Puerto Vallarta mayor, Pablo Lemus governor of Jalisco. Puerto Vallarta hotels Las Palmas by the Sea, Hotel Rosita and Crown Paradise attended seeking to enhance Puerto Vallarta tourism.
Puerto Vallarta promotes at FITUR 2025 with more than 60 meetings with tourism companies from Spain, France, Germany, Switzerland, England, Netherlands, Czech Republic, Italy, United States, Canada and Mexico. Specifically meetings were held with Der Touristik -which operates the seasonal flight from Prague-, TUI UK, TUI NL, World 2 Meet, Avoris, Discover Airlines, Viajes Corte Inglés, Air France – KLM, Edelweiss, WestJet, Air Canada, Air Transat, Avasa, Catai, Expedia and Last Minute.
Puerto Vallarta tourism official invited Air Canada, Air Transat, Expedia, Viva Aerobus, Aeromexico Vacations and Conexstur to attend GALA Riviera Nayarit-Puerto Vallarta 2025. Grupo Aeroportuario del Pacífico, operator of the Puerto Vallarta airport, met with major European airports from Madrid, Zurich, London, Amsterdam, Frankfurt, Paris and Lisbon with the hopes to increase direct connections with these cities.
FITUR LGBT+ under the theme “Diversity in Every Destination” in partnership with JN Global Project, will showcase inclusive national and international destinations during its professional sessions including innovative events to promote inclusive tourism.
IGLTA was actively involved in FITUR 2025 and was honored by UN Tourism for Outstanding Participation as an Affiliate Member since 2010. Joel Diaz IGLTA Membership Manager – Europe, represented both IGLTA and the IGLTA Foundation at the UN Tourism Affiliate Members Corner, reinforced the shared commitment to LGBTQ+ travel.
Puerto Vallarta promotes at FITUR 2025 and now will take center stage at the 2026 International Tourism Fair as the FITUR Partner Country. The collaboration grants Mexico the status of FITUR Partner Country for the 46th edition of the International Tourism Fair in Madrid. Mexico can enhance its global positioning, maximize the promotional potential of its diverse tourism offerings, and project its image to the world.
