Playa Hotels & Resorts N.V. owner of Puerto Vallarta’s gay friendly Hyatt Ziva Hotel announce the completion of a major $20 million investment of the hotel. These enhancements elevate the guest experience with reimagined accommodations, new culinary concepts, and expanded amenities, just in time for an unforgettable 2025 spring and summer vacation season in Puerto Vallarta.

Nestled along the Pacific coast surrounded by lush mountains and tropical landscape, Hyatt Ziva Puerto Vallarta has been transformed by a $20 million renovation, introducing enhanced accommodations, a revitalized culinary scene, and new entertainment spaces.

All 244 guest rooms in the North Tower have been completely refreshed, featuring new air-conditioning systems, custom woodwork, Smart TVs, Nespresso machines, and vibrant décor inspired by the resort’s breathtaking oceanfront setting, with upgraded sliding glass doors and balconies seamlessly connecting guests to stunning Pacific views.

Hyatt Ziva Puerto Vallarta updated for 2025 as the culinary lineup expands with the opening of Tamari, an Asian-fusion concept featuring live Teppanyaki cooking by expert chefs. Meanwhile, the resort’s KidZ Club for ages 4-12 has been completely reimagined, offering a jungle-inspired atmosphere filled with engaging activities for young adventurers.

Event spaces have also been elevated, including the addition of a stunning new terrace with 360° views of the Pacific—an ideal backdrop for weddings and private gatherings. Additional updates include a redesigned lobby, revitalized pickleball courts, and structural enhancements throughout the resort.
