Bar Frida Opening Casa De Frida. Bar Frida 4.0 one of Puerto Vallarta’s oldest gay bars announce the opening of their new kitchen called “Casa De Frida.” Bar Frida 4.0 was opened by Tom Finley in approximately 2001.
The current plan is to consolidate the food kitchen and the bar into one business that will result in one check for meals and drinks instead of separate checks as in the past. The new kitchen will result in a revamped menu, adding new dishes while maintaining the classics offered before along with the traditional daily food and drink specials.
Chef Alberto Cueva has been operating “Frida’s Kitchen” inside the bar for 13 years providing great food to the many customers and will be missed. Frida’s Kitchen will be closing May 18, 2025 as Beto will be looking for a new location.
