The Governor of Jalisco just announced new Covid-19 requirements for the State of Jalisco, which includes Puerto Vallarta, that will go into effect Friday, January 14, 2022. Everyone over the age of 18 entering casinos, bars, nightclubs, stadiums, concerts, and event spaces, must show proof of vaccine or a negative PCR test within the last 48 hours to enter these businesses. At this time the only capacity restriction is events at stadiums, which has a maximum capacity of 60% under these new requirements.
The accepted proof of vaccine papers are the Mexican Federal Vaccine Certificate, the paper issued by the Jalico government or the official one from another country. The acceptable vaccine record can be from one dose or both doses.
