🚗 SMART PARKING TIP: Don’t park at the start! We recommend parking near the South end (near Gallery #16 or the Cuale River). It’s much easier to find your car at the end of the night than to hike back up the hill.

- Cobblestone: Ladies Wear flats and men comfortable walking shoes ! Those historic stones are “heel killers.”
- Parking At the Beginning: Use the Parque Hidalgo underground garage for a stress-free start located here
- Parking At the End: Use the Public Parking on Morelos Street located here
- Wine sometimes: It’s a casual vibe. Enjoy the wine, but hopefully you are engaged in the art also.
🎨 2026 ART WALK FAQ
Everything you need to know for a perfect Wednesday night in PV.
1. When is the 2026 Art Walk season?
The season runs every Wednesday through May 27, 2026.
2. What time does it start and end?
Galleries are officially open for the walk from 6:00 PM to 10:00 PM.
3. Do I need a ticket or a reservation?
No. The Art Walk is a 100% free, self-guided event.
4. Where is the best place to start?
We recommend the “Downhill Route.” Start at the north end (near 31 de Octubre) and walk south.
5. How many galleries are participating?
There are 16 official galleries on the curated route for 2026.
6. Is there parking available?
Not in front of the galleries you have to use the Parque Hidalgo garage or the Morelos Street lot. Better yet, take an Uber!
7. Can I buy the art?
Yes! All galleries are professional spaces and most offer international shipping.
8. Do they serve wine?
Many galleries offer a “Vino de Honor” (complimentary wine) to guests as they browse on select dates.
9. What should I wear?
Casual Tropical. Most importantly: Wear flats! The cobblestones are famous “heel killers.”
10. Is the Art Walk family-friendly?
Yes, it’s a very social and welcoming atmosphere for everyone. Some galleries may not allow children.
11. Are galleries wheelchair accessible?
Most are not ADA accessible due to the historic nature of the buildings and steps.
12. Can I meet the artists?
Yes! Artists are often present on Wednesday nights to chat about their work.
13. What happens if it rains?
The show goes on! Galleries are indoors, just be prepared for tropical rain.
14. Where are the new PV Letters?
On the Malecon, just 4 blocks downhill from the south end of the route.
15. Is there a physical map?
Most galleries have brochures, but you can download our mobile map at the top of this page!
