Puerto Vallarta Gay Pride Successful in 2024 and has become one of the most important pride events among all Mexico’s beach destinations and Latin America.
The 11th edition of Vallarta Pride was held May 22 to 26, 2024 with the theme “Sun & the Beach.” Vallarta Pride 2024 was a celebration of 6 days with 14 events ranging from fashion and gastronomy festivals, art exhibitions, circuit parties and the world famous pride parade with an estimated 17,417 attendees who enjoyed more than 40 hours of entertainment and events.
Puerto Vallarta Gay Pride Successful in 2024 Unique Events
A huge beach party was held immediately after the pride parade something not many large gay destinations can offer. A street fair took place in Lázaro Cárdenas park in the Romantic Zone, with 43 brands including restaurants, bars, art galleries, real estate agencies and various LGBTQ businesses.

Thompson Hotel chain soon opening a new hotel in the hotel zone of Puerto Vallarta.

The Vallarta Pride organizing committee established important strategic alliances with internationally renowned brands such as Scruff and Toro to make Puerto Vallarta Gay Pride successful in 2024. RPA agency was the national media agency with MAS Comunicación promoting the event on screens and digital clocks in Mexico City.
Press generated 23 interviews in local media and more than 30 articles were recorded in national and international media outlets achieving an unprecedented national and international media reach of more than 12.6 million impressions on television, press and internet.
Javier Jiménez president of Vallarta Pride thanked all who made Puerto Vallarta Gay Pride Successful 2024. Puerto Vallarta LGBTQ+ tourism contributes more than 17 billion pesos annually to the local economy and represents 70% of the business in the romantic zone. The strength and cooperation of everyone led to Puerto Vallarta attending New York pride in 2024.
